I feel totally rejuvenated after a rather non-gentle (as requested) semi-sports massage. The gentleman obviously knew what he was doing and boy, did I feel good the next morning; all my neck and shoulder pains had disappeared. This will be a regular appointment, I think.

Just had an amazing massage at The Ark. Great consultation beforehand. Spotlessly clean but not clinical. Fantastic communication throughout. Got right to the root of the problem and feeling tip-top! Will be visiting again.

Mike at The Ark is fantastic at what he does. I have been having general massage & sports massage with him for a few years now & have never been disappointed. He always knows how to deal with any specific problems with fantastic results. Treatments are carried out in peaceful & relaxing surroundings. What more could you ask for! I highly recommend paying Mike a visit to set yourself on the path of wellbeing

Hi Mike, I did it! I won both my races over the weekend and am now the Eastern Counties Cycling Association Ladies Champion over 10 and 25 miles. On Saturday, Lea and I smashed the National Competition Record for the Ladies 10 mile Tandem. We took one minute 37 seconds off the dd record, winning in a time of 51.33! Thank you for all your help! Cheers, Gwen

Using a combination of sports massages and aromatherapy massage, Mike’s stiff shoulder treatment has persuaded my recalcitrant neck muscles to relax.

In February 2005, I started weekly sports massage at The Ark with Mike. I continued up to and after the London Marathon. The massages were very beneficial to me and kept my legs in good order. I always had my massages on a Monday following a long run on the Sunday.
It certainly made a big difference in my overall recovery after the London Marathon. I rested for 2 weeks and felt great when I went on my first post marathon run of 1 hour. I will continue looking after myself with regular massages.
My time for the London Marathon was 3 hrs 15 mins and I am 52 years of age.
